None truly embodies the true spirit of Ireland more than, Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub in Arlington Heights. What makes Peggy’s so unique is the fact that virtually every piece of the structure came directly from Ireland. All of the woodwork, including the bars themselves, were constructed and shipped directly from Ireland. Warm weather allows for tables outside around the beautiful perimeter. Children are welcome and free parking is available on the street and in a municipal garage just down the block. A professional staff, an inviting menu and an atmosphere that feels like Ireland all combine to make a visit to Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub an authentic and charming experience.     Quick date night out with my husband. It was perfect our steaks were so outstanding I had the crab topped steak. Chef Aric came to our table which was a special suprise. Chelese was our server and she did a great job taking care of us last night. I love this place

    We haven’t been to House 406 in a long while, but the food and service were as good as we remembered. My husband especially enjoyed the duck special, and the shrimp and pear/burrata appetizers were outstanding as well. It was a quiet night there, which we were grateful for after a busy holiday.

    As a foodie and a Michelin snob, let me say that the food was amazing! Best Italian in the NW suburbs! Forget the chains! Plus GREAT VALUE. The house made RICOTTA gnocchi were exactly the same as my grandma’s! The Marinara that they were nice enough to make was outstanding. In addition to the traditional dishes there are many innovative dishes : Buffalo mozzarella as a panna cotta Can you send both with a balsamic dressing as well as a pesto and thick cut prosciutto !  The tiramisu served in a mug is dense and creamy with an excellent, balanced taste. The almond semi Alfredo with a semi sweet, flaming chocolate sauce was outstanding. The service was amiable, efficient accomodating and enjoyable. Phenomenal discovery! Best Italian I have had in the Northwest suburbs.
