Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

Located in San Francisco’s Design District, Niku Steakhouse is a meat-focused restaurant, highlighting an in-house dry aging program, exclusive cuts of coveted Japanese A5 wagyu with an emphasis on wood fired cooking. Hi Neighbor!At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved. We provide a dining experience served in courses, with the satisfaction and warmth found at a family gathering, creating the foundation to a proper meal. Every day we feature a changing 3 course prix fixe menu with choices on each course for $45/person. We will have an optional additional pasta course for $12/person.     I love that the evening simply unfolds for you with no decisions to be made. Each course was a surprise and delight. The chef is creative and really focuses on extracting the most flavor from each bite. The service is always excellent. It always amazes me that we can have this type of meal pre-ballet without feeling overly rushed.

    Fantastic! Honestly, one of the best dining experience I've ever had. I wish I remembered the name of our waiter but he was the best, jovial, patient, not stuffy. We wanted a somewhat protracted dinner b/c we had a lot of catching up to do and he was great about letting the evening flow. Food was impeccable. Presentation was flawless. Filet perfectly seared. Coming back again for sure

    We had an awesome Valentine's Day dinner at Spruce. We travelled to San Francisco for the weekend and this was our first visit to Spruce. We made a great choice. The fixed menu for the evening was great. Everything from start to finish was delicious. We opted for a nice bottle of wine with our dinner. However, the wine pairing menu looked to be great as well. The service was excellent. We will definitely return the next time that we are in the Bay Area.

    Laura and Sayat have done something really special here. The attention to detail is evident in every dish, beverage, service and decor. There really is no other restaurant In SF I can compare it to. Bravo!
