Magnífica celebración del cumpleaños de mi suegro, con el notable servicio de Rocio, Ricardo y Arturo. Es un placer llegar al restaurante y que recuerden mis gustos por los aperitivos o por las entradas. El menú de hoy, delicioso: ostiones rokefeler, carpacios de pulpo y de carne… jugo de carne, ensaladas César y wedge, y los principales maravillosos: pollo, rib eye, New York con Gorgonzola. We recently had the pleasure of dining at Raíz in Mexico City, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant's tasting menu, priced at $1,700 MXN, offers a delightful journey through contemporary Mexican cuisine. Each of the six courses was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef's creativity and skill. Our meal began with a refreshing Kampachi tiradito, followed by tender corn with a delightful twist. The Enmolada with escamoles was a unique and flavorful dish, and the A la talla fish was cooked to perfection. The beef brisket was tender and rich, and the meal concluded with a seasonal dessert that was both elegant and satisfying. To complement the exquisite dishes, we opted for the wine pairing menu, which cost an additional $1,800 MXN. The selection included fine wines such as Blanc de Castel IGT 2022, The Crystal Ship 2023, PÉT NAT Rosé NV, Altavista Premium Estate 2023, Megacero 2022, and Eiswien 2020. Each wine was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the flavors of the dishes, creating a harmonious dining experience. The ambiance of Raíz is warm and inviting, with a focus on sustainability and high-quality ingredients. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was enjoyable. Overall, Raíz provides an unforgettable culinary experience that is well worth the visit. We celebrated a milestone birthday with the 7-course tasting menu “Claridad y Profundidad” with wine pairings. Each course was imaginative, inventive, and our knowledgeable server guided us through the experience beautifully. Though the portions may appear deceiving small, we were pleasantly satiated by the end. The ambiance, the interior design, and the views were also some of the best in Mexico City. Bajel is such a special place, and they really put in the effort to make a special occasion even more profoundly memorable.

Al igual que todas las opiniones aquí en Open Table que me llevaron a reservar en este lugar, la mía es para manifestar la excelente gastronomía de este lugar, sabores placenteros; pedidos el esquite risoto, los plátanos rellenos de frijol como entradas y de platos fuertes el lechón navideño y short rib. en chirmol, nada nos defraudó, de postre el mostachón (buenisimo) pero también nos trajeron de cortesía su pastel de chocolate sin harina ya que celebrábamos nuestro aniversario. La atención estuvo de 10 (nuestros platillos estuvieron rapido y nuestra mesa preparada a pesar que el lugar estaba lleno, claro que llegamos muy puntuales a nuestra hora de reservación. Baño limpio y agradable Sin duda es un lugar que repetiremos. Y el estar en la lista Michelin seguro lo hará acreedor a una estrella próximamente. Un aplauso a la chef y todo su equipo.
