Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. We loved the location, the ambience and the coziness in general. It was not packed, which helped a lot with service, and the food arrived quickly. Noise level was high even if the place was not crowded. The food was good. Not great but pretty good overall.

Wow, what a great find. When I stumbled upon it in a map search, I was very excited just looking at the pictures of the main dining room, and of the dishes they served. When my friend and I ate there that night, it exceeded my high expectations! My only regret, is not being able to sample more in one night than we did. We will both be back as regulars, and it will be great to bring a few more friends, so we can sample more from each other's plates!

This place is run at a high-level with the goal of always ensuring the diners enjoys their dining experience. Shortly after placing our order, we were informed that the kitchen had no more of the lamb dish to sell. However, a few minutes later, the manager came by and let us know that the kitchen was willing to prepare and cook one for us (probably from the stock allotted for the following day). A+ customer service, and the food never disappoints.
