A modern take on the original Village restaurant (established in 1947), our reputation is for serving Baton Rouge’s finest Italian, Prime Beef, Maine Lobster, Veal and fresh Gulf seafood. The Airline location features daily specials, a full bar and can accommodate private parties for up to fifty. We also have space for up to 15 guests in our bar area where dinner is also served.

LaContea Italian Restaurant has now been open since February of 2017. The modern Italian ambiance and cuisine is touched with elements of traditionalism and flavor that brings more nuance to the idea of comfort Italian food. Mr. Kulici just released his most recent updated seasonal menu as of November 2023.     A unique dining experience with fabulous food and service. Chris and Blake went above and beyond to deliver service that was excellent and supported a fabulous meal. Our celebration was memorable due to great service and great food! Highly recommend.

    They did not offer the lunch menu because it's Dec. The food was lukewarm at best, the other guest who was with me had to send her lasagna back because it was cool to the touch. I ordered the seafood stuffed fish was tasty, but this was not stuffed had a dollop of stuffing on top, it had a nice flavor with no seafood in it at all. it was just lukewarm. The servers however were top notch and very accommodating. This was not the Little Village I am used to, even the bread was off today.

    Incredible food, love the ambiance and quiet atmosphere. Such a refreshing change from loud, busy restaurants. Service was impeccable. We had the crawfish mac n cheese for a fun starter. Fabulous! Husband had the seafood linguine- off the charts! I had the lobster roll. Very good, one thing is that I wished it had been served warm instead of cold. Fries were very crisp and unusually flavorful. Highly recommend!
