In 1969, artistic craftsmen of Disneyland fame created a romantic rendezvous in the cellar of the old California Hotel. Intimate and cozy, the dining room is elegant amid structured arches and cave-like walls that are deecorated with wine casks and silver lanterns.     My wife and I had such an amazing experience!!! The steak was so good and the location is amazing! The ocean view is dazzling. A romantic location. Our server was also very attentive and all staff were always professional and very welcoming. This place is an amazing choice to celebrate a special occasion OR if you want to have a date night.

    Perfect place to meet friends for a light dinner before attending Speaker Series at The Terrace Theater in downtown Long Beach. Five of us. Servers friendly and helpful. We needed to request the social hour reduced price menu. Not sure why it wasn’t on the table. Quickly brought to us when asked. Brussels sprouts are my favorite, wish I had a photo. Flash fried to a perfect crunch, huge serving enough to share. Three of us had the French onion soup. Delicious! Just enough melted cheese & big chunks of caramelized onions. Meatballs very yummy & the salads were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend you stop by when on the area. They accommodated our time schedule, our server was attentive to our needs. Wonderful service & Great food! We’ll be back when we have more time to enjoy the rooftop ambience.
