 it was a lovely time, it was early, so it wasn’t too noisy, and we got to hear the music… Our waiter was very good to us, and even sang happy birthday to my sister.

Our best experience yet at Isola Osteria. My wife and I live close to Danville’s cluster of restaurant but we rarely walk to them because once the sun sets over the west Danville hills a chill sets in that makes the four block walk home unpleasant. Charming as it might seem this restaurant has a number of tables outside. Even though there are a number of heaters the slightest breeze diminishes their warmth. The salads were deliciously dressed and the pasta was al dente. The service was slow and the tiramisu was too custardy. Certainly we will plan to return but probably not until nearer to the summer. The guitar entertainment was lovely.
