Everything about Little Madrid Tapas Cafe was perfect. Having spent many years in Spain, this place is the real deal. They have a fabulous selection of wine and a wide array of traditional tapas and pintxos from anchovies and croquetas to morcilla and queso de cabra. The service was perhaps my favorite part. Our waiter went above and beyond for us and our requests and was very attentive to our needs and experience while also giving us plenty of space to catch up without too many interruptions. This is a gem of a cafe that can serve as both a great date night spot or a place for a casual happy hour with friends or colleagues.

We had a fabulous time at our dinner. While we thought our empanadas were delicious, the steak flight for two was the highlight, along with the pisco sours. Our sides (we got asparagus and the truffled fingerling potatoes) were very good, but I will probably explore others on the list next time we go. But how could they shine next to the steak? We were there on a Saturday night when they had live music, and that elevated the whole experience to be super vibey and extra fun. We had churros for dessert just to stay longer and enjoy, and they were also delicious. We will definitely be back!

We were hopeful this would be good as it just opened down the street from us. They did not disappoint! Wow, such an amazing staff, the service was a 12/10, the food was very delicious, and we tried 8 different dishes and all of them were amazing. We tried 2 of the specials and 4 pastas, everything was so good. Bravo!

It’s always a good meal here. The wait staff of as friendly as can be and not pushy or in your face all the time. You’ll never be with it a full glass of water.

Best soups ! Delicious bean & escarole for starter. The hot bread and roasted garlic is addictive it’s so good.Then a fantastic pizza. Asked for anchovies and extra basil, done. So accommodating. Great service always. Can’t stop returning driving from lakefront. Worth the drive every time.
