It’s Italia opened in 1997 as a San Francisco style trattoria and pizzeria serving gourmet pizzas, house pastas, and creative salads, always with a California Italian flavor.Thirteen years later, having moved into the beautiful Half Moon Bay Inn on Main Street Half Moon Bay, our menu has expanded to include seafood and meat selections from our rotisserie and mesquite grill, artful pastas and award winning pizza, creative salads and antipasti, and an array of house desserts. Fattoria e Mare ("Farm and Sea") is a vibrant Bay Area restaurant utilizing organic, sustainable ingredients sourced from local vendors. The menu will change often featuring local, fresh ingredients at their peak. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the menu places an emphasis on seafood, while also providing a range of other Venetian inspired options. Executive Chef and Owner, Pablo Estrada, immerses himself in every meal he creates. He is passionate about crafting delicious, unique dishes and ensuring all guests have a wonderful dining experience. We were originally located in Burlingame, but have moved to a new location, nestled in the heart of downtown Half Moon Bay. Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios.     Our server, Stephanie, was courteous, personable and on point. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Love the gigantes, grilled shrimp and the roasted chicken with potatoes and vegetables. Delish!

    Pasta Moon has been a favorite for years. They have an extensive menu which makes it hard to make up your mind. This is a great "problem" to have. We had an appetizer, salads, and main courses – plus a bottle of wine. Not cheap, but a great value because all of the dishes were excellent. The seafood was ultra fresh. Our waitress was delightful. We were there on a Sunday early afternoon after the main lunch rush. It was super-relaxed. We'll be back soon.

    This restaurant was such a fun place for dinner! The ambience and decor and lighting and the amazing and delicious food was so nice! Very chill but a lot of fun! The delicious Pisco drinks set the mood perfectly! The two stories is such a great way to have a restaurant! Eating upstairs and getting to see all of the awesome decor was great! We will be returning for another special date in the future! Go check it out and see for yourselves! Highly recommended!!! I also don’t ever bother to write reviews so that should tell you what a great experience that we had!

    We've been many times, mostly in spurts. Food is always good; some interesting some standard Italian choices. Two of us had the very good pappardelle with braised short ribs and truffle oil. Portions were generous and not obscene. Service is attentive even when busy and never intrusive.
