Assaggi Restaurant - Italian fine dining since 1996. Superb quality food in a welcoming and intimate surrounding.

Since 1967, diners at the Tiroler Hut have enjoyed hearty Austrian-fare accompanied by live music in this cosy, cult basement restaurant.Your host, the octogenarian Josef, opened the Hut and is still at the helm with his family alongside him, so you can expect a homely, Austrian enclave under bustling Westbourne Grove complete with cheese fondue, schnitzel, ice-cold beer, and, yes, the odd yodelling session. Or cowbell show. Or accordion rendition of 'Do-Re-Mi'. Probably all of them, truth be told.It's a very good place for a night out (and late night food) and even better when enjoyed with friends and family; in the words of the late, great A. A. I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The risotto was simply exquisite, cooked to perfection with a creamy texture and rich, well-balanced flavors. The highlight, however, was the lobster — prepared with such skill and attention to detail that every bite was a delight. The freshness of the seafood and the artistry in the presentation truly set this dish apart. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience!

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. Great decor and atmosphere- cosy and comfortable. Set lunch was very good and excellent value. It was very busy and thus initial service was a little slow, but otherwise excellent, and no pressure to finish/leave (our booking was 2.00pm). Would definitely return.

The girls in the cafe are wonderful. Cheerful, efficient, so obliging. They make the restaurant a great place to be in. The food is good too, tasty and well presented and there is no waiting to be served. You don’t feel rushed. There is plenty of space between tables and overall.
