Hutong at The Shard’s cuisine takes its inspiration from the dishes served in the imperial palaces of what was then Peking. Based on the ‘Lu school’ cuisine of Shandong Province, the menu artfully captures the subtlety and surprises of Northern Chinese cooking. A cocktail selection inspired by ingredients used in traditional Chinese medicine and stunning interior, complete with traditional Chinese red lanterns and beautiful hand-carved wood-panelled ‘Moon Gates’, offer London diners a new destination restaurant with panoramic views over London’s skyline. Service was exceptional..from the girl at the front door - who resolved our ask - to the staff in the restaurant..everyone was so accommodating…food was just so creative and tasty. We loved it..what we would have loved perhaps was some soft background music. Definitely would recommend.

Très bonne table, nous y avons déjeuné pour le 25 décembre. Un repas et un service digne de ce nom, cependant nous avons été déçu de devoir libérer notre table assez rapidement. Néanmoins je recommande, très bonne adresse.

The atmosphere was so nice. I went on a date on a Tuesday and had the 2-4-1 stakes which were cooks perfectly. The only downside is it has to be the same stake but I didn’t really nice. We had 2 rump stakes and some bread and butter which only came to £30 I would definitely recommend coming on a Tuesday.
