Growing up in Italy, my family cooked at home and had the most extraordinary experiences with ingredients grown in our backyard, paired with the wines my chef/restaurateur stepfather would bring back from regions throughout Italy. I fell in love with food as a child watching my stepfather, once nominated a top chef in Italy, work in restaurant kitchens and floors. My only hesitation is that more folks will discover this neighborhood gem and it will become harder to get in. We find it consistently delightful. Friendly folks, good service and excellent food.

We had a very fun and delicious dinner at Orto and will definitely be back. We had a large party (over 10) they were able to accomodate with ease while also taking care of another large party (20+) seated at the same time. Everyone enjoyed their meal and their wine list is excellent. Thanks to all at Orto for a lovely experience.
