Birthday Celebration #2 -We headed to Drake’s for the man’s second celebration of the weekend, marking our second visit there. The menu had changed a bit since our last time, but the ambiance remained fantastic. We continue to love the attentive service and live music. For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp cocktail and crab scampi. The shrimp (4) were massive, and the cocktail sauce was spot on. The crab claws (5) were absolutely delicious, and the accompanying sauce was so good I saved it to use on my mashed potatoes. For our entrées, I had the crab cake, and he chose the ribeye (medium well), and we shared a side of mashed potatoes. The crab cake was outstanding, with a perfectly crisp top layer and plenty of flavorful crab. The ribeye was cooked exactly how he likes it—tender, flavorful, and just juicy enough (though I would have preferred medium). Drinks-wise, I enjoyed three Bogart’s Gimlets and a shot of Don Julio Añejo, while he had three Manhattans, a shot of Michter’s, and we split a beer. The drinks were tasty, but neither of us felt tipsy—interpret that as you will regarding the pour strength. We did mention we were celebrating a birthday, but there were no special treats or mentions for us. We noticed other tables receiving birthday cakes, cotton candy, etc., so it seems you might have to request or pay for those. Not a big deal, but worth noting for anyone expecting a complimentary celebration gesture. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return for the ambiance, live music, and excellent food. The total cost was $436, including the tip.

Absolutely delighted with my experience at Bistro 31! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Michael and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and they were knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The flavors were so well-balanced, it was evident that the kitchen prides itself on quality ingredients and expert preparation. I also appreciated the cozy yet elegant ambiance of the restaurant—perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. Michael and his team clearly know how to create a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and enjoy another exceptional meal! Highly recommend Bistro 31 for anyone seeking top-notch food and service!

Adelmo’s is excellent in so many aspects. First the food: we had the mussels as an entree versus being offered as an appetizer. The tomato based sauce with the mussels was extraordinary! My husband ordered the pasta primavera which was very flavorful. We also ordered sides of spinach and a small serving of whole wheat pasta to go with the mussels. John was our server. You must ask for him if he is working on the night you go. He actually added to our wonderful experience at the restaurant. You can tell it is family run with daughter Lauren welcoming us to the restaurant. All staff is perfectly attentive without being intrusive. We will be back to enjoy many more dinners!

Food was excellent. Service was great , Joe (manager) and Brian (server) are top notch.
