Paranga is a seaside restaurant, set on teak decking above the rippling Mediterranean Sea. We are a Italian restaurant situated in Mellieha. Since Mellieha is a small town which derives its name from the Arabic word for salt, we don’t think we could have found a more fitting area. The quaint town is an ideal location for a variety of reasons – no less for its tourist attractions. And what’s better than a cosy environment accompanied by food of outstanding value after a day at the beach? Not to toot our own horn, but our answer would be: not much. Staying true to our typical Italian demeanor, we always provide a service with a smile. The intimate atmosphere in our restaurant is appreciated by a variety of patrons looking for an authentic experience, and we do our best to be accommodating to families.

    Had a unique experience nestled in a private corner yet not closed. Amazing staff good food great ambience. Perfect Valentine's dinner atmosphere. Will surely return back and recommend Water Biscuit Restaurant.

    We had an absolutely incredible Valentine’s Day dinner at Paranga. The pasta carbonara was rich and perfectly balanced, while the vegan steak was a delightful surprise, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The red and blue roses added such a romantic touch, making the evening feel extra special. Service was outstanding, attentive yet not overbearing, and the food was truly some of the best we’ve ever had. A perfect experience from start to finish, highly recommend!

    We couldn't get into the restaurant we had wanted as it was closed for refurbishment, so The Taproom was a last minute decision - but what a great one it was! Fantastic food, unintrusive and efficient service, and a very pleasant ambience. Definitely one of the best meals we had in Valletta whilst on holiday.
