Scalini is the best Italian restaurant in New Jersey. We loved everything that we had, but most important was the staffs friendliness and attention to detail, as they made us feel welcome! Thank you for a great night !

When you step into Cafe Vincotto you step into a cozy and welcoming space. The owners are always cheerful and welcoming. The food is outstanding. The food is fresh. I love the tuna tartare, the meatballs and the octopus to start. I’ve had almost every fish on the menu. Always fresh with the right flavors and complementary sides. The short ribs are lean and so flavorful. Cafe Vincotto has become our casual and special occasion place. We love it.

We were a party of 6 (long-time - 50 years) friends who met at this restaurant for lunch for a first time as it is 1/2 way between our respective areas. Chose it from online reviews. Asked for a round table so we could talk more easily -- we got that Ordered an assortment of appetizers and some ordered from the lunch special and two ordered chicken parm. Everything was very good-- (one of my friends gave the host his suggestion of how to prepare chicken parm -- he said it was good but just too thick- maybe pound it more -- well, if you were to know my friend-- just ignore him !!) anyway -- we all enjoyed this restaurant and as for the waiter -- TOTALLY COOL and really did a GREAT JOB providing us with EXCELLENT SERVICE throughout our more than 2 hours there.. wish I knew this server's name (told to us but we were all talking too much and I can't hear anyway) but, if you go there for lunch this waiter will be outstanding in many ways.. all in all -- anyone living in this area has a great place for Greek (and some Italian) food! We visited for my boyfriend’s birthday and everything was just perfect! Lovely ambiance, attentive staff, food came in a timely fashion. We ordered a few things but the Mushroom Pizza and Scallop Risotto were our favorites of the night. They also put his name on the board wishing him Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. Thank you so much! We will be returning soon!!

Ate on the patio/deck. Lovely! Great menu with so many good choices. Appetizers were particularly delicious. Appreciated the variety of dessert choices too.
