il Portico Opened in 1988 ~Same Ownership ~ Fine Italian CuisineLocated in the charming historic village of Tappan New York, il Portico has received National Landmark status. Built in the early 1850s, it once served as a stagecoach stop and hotel offering weary travelers accommodations for 3 cents a night! The atmosphere is warm and romantic. We like to thank you for your support and your excellent review during a time when is very difficult to navigate the hospitality industry. We welcome your next visit in the near future. We will continue our post-Covid policy: with limited seating, reservation only - no walk-ins, and we will stagger our reservations.

FARM’s Chef Renè Xelo, who has been with the restaurant since its inception in 2016, has curated a casual dining experience influenced by the many notable purveyors from across the Hudson Valley, best known for fresh produce, sustainably sourced seafood, and delectable bread and pastries. FARM’s thoughtful culinary concept evokes the local experience of gathering together in a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy great food and drinks. The massive ceiling-to-floor windows offer diners beautiful views of the outside patio while inside, guests are surrounded by colorful artwork created by local artists from the tri-state area.The bar program will offer delightful wines, from some of the oldest vineyards in the country, as well as locally brewed bourbons and ales. Bourbon Blackberry Collins, with Black Dirt bourbon (fresh from nearby Orange County), lemon juice, and agave, is a great way to start off the evening.
