Al Wadi Boston is a Lebanese restaurant providing the West Roxbury area a unique ethnic food experience. Sycamore creates consistently excellent food and drinks. Last night's boudin blanc is a treasure -- only prepared in December, and it runs out in early January -- is it a delicate, flavorful white sausage that is like eating soft clouds of umami. So good! Also, the lamb two ways was exceptional -- small rack plus lamb confit wrapped in dark leaves, served on a flavorful couscous. They also happily prepared a vegetarian version of their gemelli carbonara, with chunks of squash and forest mushrooms. Bartender Scott remains a standout -- makes great drinks and is funny and whimsical. Owner Dave was gracious, as always. We have been to Sycamore time and time again, and they never disappoint.

Took my wife and my mother here for an early Christmas dinner on 12/23. The food was exceptional and well priced, our cocktails were fantastic and our server Sergio was remarkable. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great experience in Waltham. Will be back for certain!
