This is our favourite restaurant, the food is consistently good, and the service is excellent. The restaurant is lovely inside and they always do their best to accommodate any requests. We like that they keep most of our favourite dishes on the menu but always have seasonally appropriate offerings to change things up. We had the most delicious baked Brie! Also we happened to go on one of the weekends when they offer fresh oysters, this was an especially enjoyed bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend the Mettawas for an exceptional dining experience.

Took my better half out for Valentine’s dinner. It was our first time having dinner. The restaurant itself is impressive. Used to be a Victorian tea house that was renovated but they kept the original feel creating a cozy intimate vibe. Andrew our waiter turned out to be the owner operator and he was a delight to interact with throughout our stay. Very attentive and genuine. Best part is they gave me two steaks for the price of 1 because they were both under 8 oz. Crème brule trio for dessert was a treat. My wife said the coffee was one of the best she’s had in a while. We had a wonderful night and will be back for sure! Oh yeah the music was great grabbed some songs for our playlist.

Wait staff is awesome and always very welcoming and tentative

The reservation is for a wine tasting. It is fairly priced and you get a discount for each wine tasting flight. This is our second time back as we enjoy it so much.
