We were a big group of people celebrating a special event and F&F made us feel so welcome

Service was OK but not great, but the food was exceptional. Great flavours, and everything was perfectly cooked.

Lovely food, wonderful staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. I grew up in the area when the star pub was the community centre, with the lovely refurb they did a couple years I can see it being that again with the added bonus of it now a quality bistro/gastro pub!

First visit to the Acorn for Sunday roasts and it was just wow. The food, staff and restaurant was amazing. Bruce came and chatted at our table, he’s knowledge, experience and passion is captivating and it was a real pleasure talking to him about food. Thank you to all the staff at the acorn for a really lovely Sunday afternoon. We loved it so much we rebooked for the next Friday night and can see us visiting often. This restaurant is a must visit if you love quality food.

We were 4 diners and all had different food and they were all very tasty and well presented and served by friendly and efficient staff.
