We enjoyed high tea to celebrate daughter’s birthday. Requested a window seat and enjoyed the ambiance and view. Shuba was very friendly and attentive throughout the afternoon. They even provided a birthday dessert with candle. Having a 4 pm reservation was perfect. We never felt rushed. Would recommend BG’s to anyone who’s in the area.

If you’re looking for a stunning rooftop spot with great vibes, this place is a must-visit! The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the ambiance is relaxed yet sophisticated. The snacks are on point—perfectly portioned, flavorful, and creatively presented. Whether you’re into classic tapas or something with a modern twist, there’s plenty to choose from. We were looking for a new place that had great food, service and ambiance. Maiella hit a home run on all three. The menu has so many great options to choose from. The table-side cacio e pepe was one of the best we’ve had. It’s a nice add to have it made right at your table. We had chicken parm and branzino and both were equally delicious. They come with either a side of pasta or vegetables. For desert we had cheesecake and Affogato. This just sealed the deal for for an already amazing meal. Additionally, I am very big on customer service and they make sure they deliver in this area. Anthony , the manager, is a really nice guy. Stopped at our table to ensure everything met our expectations. He shared some stories with us about the restaurant and food. He makes sure all your expectations are met (even exceeded) and what sets this place apart from other restaurants in the area. We look forward to Maiella being a regular place for us and can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. Lastly, the the ambiance with the views of NYC make this a place you won’t mind sitting for an hour or two. If you haven’t already, definitely try this gem.

The food and service were impeccable again! I frequent this restaurant often, and the food was expertly prepared. My filet was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The service staff is friendly and personable, but not intrusive. This restaurant is not cheap, but I never regret spending my money in this place.
