Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. What an amazing experience! The pizza was amazing. The rack of lamb was absolutely stunning. Great preparation cooked perfectly. The appetizers were fantastic. Nothing is pedestrian. They take everything and prepare it just a step above. The service was very spot on our waiter Romeo was very attentive and genuinely loved his job and was very good at it. The wine list was carefully put together with great Italian selections that paired fantastically with the menu . Thank goodness this restaurant is not too close to where I live. Otherwise I’d be there at least twice a week!!! 😂🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

My husband and I brought our adult kids and their partners for a Christmas dinner. It was lovely, delicious and festive. Chance was our server, he was a GEM! He didn’t miss a beat…and we loved his personality and professionalism. His team backed him up flawlessly. The kitchen knocked every dish out of the park.
