Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Its chefs are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and its bar staff creates innovative cocktails and serves a range of wines by the glass and draught beers, as well. The menu at Meat & Potatoes is a new take on basic. My wife and I had our pre-pens game meal at Fig and Ash and they provided a top tier dining experience. From the server to the food presentation, we were very impressed. We also thought the menu was fairly priced for the service and food provided. We highly recommend this restaurant as one of Pittsburgh’s best. Cheers!

One of the tastiest Beet Salads I've ever had, an excellent drink special, totally welcoming wait staff. This was a real find, since we wouldn't have known it was there by just walking past.
