We are a small, family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in carefully sourced Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail.Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Just an unbeatable restaurant experience. Very tasty steaks, great wine and excellent service. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. Huge thanks as well for helping us celebrate a special business occasion!

This is not a cheap option for lunch, but for a special occasion or treat, it is one of my favourite places in Edinburgh. The food, service and ambience are consistently exceptional. Definitely need to book in advance. The phone was busy all lunchtime with people looking for a table that night but they were fully booked.

We had booked afternoon tea but their pastry oven had suddenly broken down so we were told in advance and decided to do lunch instead. On arrival we were greeted by Enrique who took us to a table with a beautiful view of Edinburgh and two complimentary glasses of fizz as an apology for not being able to provide the afternoon tea which was a nice touch. Our lunch was lovely and the Sticky toffee pudding was delicious with a decent dollop of ice cream too. We ordered the house champagne which was lovely. A lovely atmosphere and equally lovely attentive staff. I would recommend it and the afternoon tea as we have experienced it before.
