Roe is a modern and spacious restaurant in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind the critically-acclaimed sister restaurant Fallow St James’s and FOWL.The extensive a la carte menu is divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. Met all our expectations in terms of special festive ambience! So gorgeous! Service was attentive and helpful, and our lunch wasn’t rushed in any way. Food was delicious but unfortunately not hot. We didn’t mind because our experience was wonderful overall. Treat yourself to this special restaurant and you won’t forget it.

I've returned many times to Blacklock City since 2018 and every visit has been excellent. I love the Monday Butcher pricing but the everyday prices are quite fair. The service is exemplary and my waitstaff clearly communicates their pride and enthusiasm working as a team. It's a really good place to visit as a customer, and I think it's a really terrific place to work.

Our booking was 12:45. Arrived early , didn’t have to wait for our table and went straight to our space and was served straight away which I thought was great, usually restaurants keep you waiting till your booking, this wasn’t the case and the afternoon was lovely . Thank you Ivy and your staff
