Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Service was exceptional..from the girl at the front door - who resolved our ask - to the staff in the restaurant..everyone was so accommodating…food was just so creative and tasty. We loved it..what we would have loved perhaps was some soft background music. Definitely would recommend.

Had a great evening with my group of 6 on Christmas Eve. The food as always was amazing, miso cod and scallops for me. Service is always outstanding, perfect balance between friendly and professional. Great atmosphere, buzzing but not too loud. I love eating here with my family.
