We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. In a year of enjoying some great meals, Silo has consistently delivered some of the very best. Every time we’ve visited, the experience has been flawless. Course after course of innovative, flavoursome, beautiful food. Tonight’s was the best yet. This places excites me. The evolution we’ve seen is amazing. New twists on existing dishes take each to an even higher level. And their value-driven, ‘no waste’ ethos is outstanding. Our favourite restaurant this year. So looking forward to many more meals in 2025.

We had an enjoyable lunch at the 'spirits tasting ' event, the starter was particularly good. We were given a voucher as a gift and had not previously dined at Haywards. We enjoyed the fixed lunch menu and the presentation from Adam representing Essex Spirits. However, we would have preferred a wine tasting experience as we rarely drink spirits.
