Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. The food was beautifully presented My favourite dish the bass ceviche looked pretty and tasted wonderfully fresh with the crispy shallots adding texture. All the staff we met were very attentive, friendly and made us feel relaxed. We will definitely be returning.

Literally have zero faults with Blacklock. I’ve been coming here for years and I will continue to do so. Food, drink, service - all are phenomenal. It’s amazing that you can get so much good food at fairly reasonable prices that comes with some of the best service you’ll experience. 1000% coming back for more rounds of the All In and Cheesecake!

We enjoyed a delicious meal, and the staff were very friendly and offered great service. The cocktail we had was also very good. I’d highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back again when I’m in the area.
