Higher Ground is a British bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday at dinner and at lunchtime on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner, both an à la carte and a seasonal sharing menu at £60pp are available. Both menus are available when sat at the kitchen bar counter.We often hold space for walk-ins at the kitchen bar counter so pop by and have some plates and a glass of wine!Reservations of up to twelve guests are accepted via the OpenTable online reservation platform. For parties of 7x guests and over, the seasonal sharing menu is served.

Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

    Outstanding evening with the most warmest, charismatic and fun staff who are so obliging in a stunning aesthetically beautifully designed venue with an incredible electric vibe/atmosphere. The food was exceptional and of high standard as was the wine and drinks offerings. The saxophonist and beats guys accompanying the fantastic DJ (she is brilliant) tops off the whole vibe. Absolutely unforgettable evening with superb professional attentive friendly team, 10/10 thank you!!!

    The food is amazing and the service is fantastic there so knowledgeable about the dishes and I love how locally sourced a lot of it is. So friendly and accommodating one of my favourite places to visit.
