Che Fico, is a California Italian restaurant from Chefs David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer in San Francisco's NOPA neighborhood. The food focuses on Italian cuisine through the lens of California. It’s our vision of Northern California as if it is a region in Italy, our connection to the region, and our love for Italian culinary practices. Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park.     This was first time my wife and I ate at Dalida, and we were not disappointed. The food is meant to be shared so going with a larger group will give you the chance to try more dishes. We started with fresh oysters, and then had the Fattoush salad (beets and persimmons) and the "Braking Bread". We then shared the Anatollan Erishte (Turkish noodles with mushrooms) and the Kayseri Manti (lamb dumplings). Every dish was excellent. The pace of the meal was wonderful and the atmosphere was delightful. They have a very extensive wine list and all price points both by the glass and full bottles. I was interested in some southern European wines I have never heard of and our server gave excellent descriptions. I was not disappointed with my choice. Our server was wonderful, knowledgeable, and gave us great service from when we were seated to when we paid at the end of the meal. I am already looking forward to a future visit.

    Unassuming entrance, walk up the stairs, and wow! What a beautiful space. We had excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing- we shared the French Toast and Eggs in a spicy tomato sauce (sorry! I don’t remember their Italian names). We will definitely be back.
