We are Kaizen. It all started when longtime friends from Flushing, Queens, came together with an idea that would soon be introduced to their hometown city. They all shared the same love for Japanese traditions and the simplicity, yet, flavorful ingredients that are carefully constructed into each Temaki. Our passion is to bring an authentic and contemporary Temaki (hand rolls) & Omakase concept that highlights delicate hand rolls and artful craft cocktail pairings to Flushing, Queens. Steven our server was excellent. Friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. We had the butternut squash soup, zucchini chips, herb bread, mushroom cavatelli, roasted chicken and butterscotch apple cake. Honestly so delicious. Highly recommend.

The experience is always great. Our waiter Manuel was very nice and attentive. The other helper server Benicio was very thoughtful and gave us extra plate of the olives 🫒 cheese, mushroom with pickle vegetables plate yummy. We go three times an every year for the past 7 years. Look forward to our visits in 2025.

Everything was amazing especially the food. The appetizer wasn’t too good but the main course delicious, i got the salmon and asparagus and my Bf got the chicken and mashed potatoes which was soo good the chicken was tender
