Horseshoe Grill in North Reading has been family-owned since the 1920s when it was originally a supper club for members only. That changed in 1957 and, since then, patrons have come from all over to sample the famous ribs that have made Horseshoe Grill an institution. The relaxing atmosphere inside makes it the perfect place to get to work on a rack of ribs, lobster Rangoon, Thai chili calamari or nachos. I love your healthier beautiful looking food. I’ve been to both of your Massachusetts restaurants 3 times in the last 2 weeks with friends or family.also I like the fact certain items are seasonal. I do not go to restaurants that never change there menus seasonally years on end.

I dined in a party of 6. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I started with a Mistletoe Martini which was rather nice, and then I had the seafood scampi: mussels, 4 shrimp and a piece of codfish served in a creamy garlic sauce over linguini. It was very tasty. Service was on the slower side. There was a musician making good music but the place is small and the music was loud so that made it difficult to converse with anyone not sitting right next to you. Overall a good experience!
