Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. Such a delicious meal. The servers were friendly and put up with me and my group who were probably a bit loud and a little tipsy. We really enjoyed ourselves. Next time we’ll keep it classy.

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the food and drinks are superb, so is the view and so is service (for the most part). I almost always order from the special or seasonal menu, and this time was no exception. Winter salad, scallops, special drink and espresso. The ingredients are simple but masterfully prepared. Sometimes difficult to get a reservation, so worth planning ahead. Highly recommend.

I have not been to this restaurant for probably 20 years. I was not disappointed. Our server was very professional but fun. The food was excellent. The restaurant was packed and full of energy. My only complaint the entire evening is it took quite awhile to have someone come over to take our initial drink order and it took some time after that to get our drinks (pet peeve). After that, the service was flawless and our group of 6 enjoyed our time there very much. I will not wait another 20 years to return!
