Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. Large windows fill the restaurant with natural light that reflects off the white subway tile, wood accents and butcher block tables. Our server was lovely and attentive… so pleasant . Tomato bisque soup and arugula salad was amazing. Cant wait to go to Roosters at the bowl!

Had a great visit to Rooster's Ballantyne. We were glad to try this out as we really like the South Park location. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is very nice, but comfortable. The food was excellent. We went in on their brunch menu and it was very thorough with lots of options. The serving sizes were very generous. The parking at the Ballantyne Bowl can be a bit tricky, but was not too bad. We are excited to have Roosters close by and will plan to be back frequently.

They just opened for lunch during weekdays and was our first visit for lunch (been there for dinner a few times). Great experience. Had a pizza and a salad to share with my wife. Prices feel a tad high, especially for the salad during lunch, but you get quality food and service (you want cheap counter service, go to Fuel or Inizzio). Great additional option in SouthEnd for lunch.
