We went to market this morning and we're going to make some delicious home cooked food and listen to some groovy music. And we've put together an excellent collection of soulful wines, spirits, and fermented beverages that we're excited to share with you.     We were well attended to, there was a very friendly guy, I don't remember his name, but he was very attentive, he offered to take pictures, and he takes good pictures! When I return to New York, I will return to this restaurant!

    We went to Essex for Thanksgiving dinner and it was fantastic. It was relatively quiet and the staff were more than welcoming. They were so polite in taking the orders of a large group and were very patient with our two children. The holiday had a pre-fixe meal and we all got to try new takes on classic Thanksgiving foods. It was delicious. The quality of food and the portion size for the price was great. Thank you all!

    The River Cafe is my favorite restaurant in New York, and probably anywhere else too! The beautiful romantic atmosphere, amazing views, warm yet attentive service and truly exquisite food make for a perfect experience. It is a special occasion place, not for everyday, but we have celebrated our anniversary there several times (when in the city - we do not live in NYC), and this time it was our 50th. They did not disappoint! I hope I get to go back for many more special occasions. We took our adult son with us and he loved it as well.
