Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm. Prices:5-course:$70/person Wed, Thu, Sun$85/person Fri-Sat8-course*:$115/person Wed, Thu, Sun$135/person Fri-SatFor a more casual plant-based experience, see our other concept, Bar Avelo, which focuses on cocktails, and offers an a la carte Tapas menu.*The 8 course meal is only available during our second seating time from 7:45-8:30pm

    An inventive, scrumptious, collection of perfectly balanced flavours, textures, aromas, and colours. Masterful dishes served in a gorgeous, cozy dining room by welcoming, unpretentious staff. Costly, but completely reasonable for the care and effort provided. Possibly the best dining experience I've had, anywhere.

    Dopamina feels like a criminally underrated restaurant in Toronto, the food is unbelievably good and there is clearly a massive amount of attention put into every component of every dish. Dishes that can readily be found elsewhere are taken to a completely different level (their beef tartare is hands down the best I've ever had), and their own creations are home-run takes on classical preparations with Japanese ingredients (their Agnolotti is to die for). The service is also absolutely amazing and really completes an incredible experience. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a really elevated dining experience in Toronto! P.S: Their cocktails are extremely good, I had the "Surprise Me" and it was an utterly delicious drink but also perfectly cleansed my palette between courses
