We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Matthew gave great recommendations and checked on us regularly. The table for two by the wall was not ideal. Imagine cutting a window in the wall so guests can see the sushi bar. Food and drinks were delicious!

The food was amazing as always but Spencer made the whole experience next level. When I couldn’t decide between two meals, He gave thoughtful insight about each without trying to steer me to one or the other. Everyone involved with the service of our meal from Spencer to the person who picked up our dishes was phenomenal. This is my new go to place for dinner. Kelly T.

I was there for lunch with a dear friend to celebrate her birthday. We chose a few appetizers to share as we like to eat small plates. the brussel sprouts were nicely charred and seasoned, the calamari crisp not chewy, the meatballs large and meaty not spongy. Our waiter CJ was attentive, fun and efficient. I would go again for sure!

One of my favorite dining options. I don’t spend much time in Boulder but when I do I make it a point to try and make it over. Great cocktails, absolutely amazing food, love the ambience, and the staff has always been great. Can’t recommend enough.
