Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. My boyfriend and I had the most amazing first time at Larsen’s, celebrating his birthday. Although the plaza where Larsen’s Encino is located is undergoing remodeling, once you step into the restaurant, you’re completely transformed to another place. Great dim lighting, live piano, and classic steakhouse look. Rita, the hostess, was absolutely amazing. Grant, our server, took it to the next level with his great service. Alongside already amazing food, this wonderful restaurant captivated us into making sure we come back for more.
