Mot Hai Ba has been an East Dallas staple since 2013, offering a seasonal menu inspired by locally sourced farms and ingredients, as well as influences from France, Asia & Italy. Our original location in Lakewood offers a cozy, intimate dining room, and a lovely enclosed patio for your enjoyment.Due to our limited seating capacity we ask that guests adhere to the following reservation timeframes:parties of 1 to 2 guests - 1 hour 45 minutes .2 to 4 guests - 2 hours . 5 guests and up - 2.5 hours . Shinsei Restaurant - Traditional Sushi / Contemporary Asian KitchenWhen we came up with the concept of Shinsei we wanted a place that reflected our lifestyles: sometimes we went out to dinner with our kids and sometimes with our friends and husbands. We wanted to create a place where a night out with the kids didn’t mean food adults had to suffer through or a night out with the parents didn’t mean a stuffy place where kids had to wear a scratchy clip-on tie. Shinsei is just that: a neighborhood gathering place with date night appeal. But not so unexpected that you won’t be able to decipher the menu or recognize your favorite dish.     Happy Friday after thanksgiving! Al’s was packed at630p! Lots of family parties. Bar packed football and basketball games. I had an early dinner! As always , valet greeted me and another opened door of my date. They always accord respect to every patron. Greeted at check in. Told me table would be ready in a bit. Drinks perfect - mahattan and cosmo. Dinner Caesar salad and wedge salads. 10 oz fillet and brocccoli w cheese sour cream and bacon top! Holy cow!!! Get it!!!! A great night. Check out valet and everything went well. the spirit of Mr Al Biernat, will reside for years to come because, he taught his people value of customer service, great food, hospitality, value, service, appreciation of team members and joy to serve each plate each person each night. God welcome Al Biernat and thank you for allowing to convey your wisdom , love and hope in each person in his employ!

    The experience was great! The food and service were outstanding! The desserts, oh my gosh, were incredible. Just go there and enjoy. After an amazing dinner or lunch, you can shop downstairs in the amazing Italian store.

    Mot Hai Ba has been my favorite restaurant in Dallas for the last 10 years. Its unique vibe makes every meal different. I take anyone visiting me from out of town here. Would recommend: Grilled Octopus, Grilled Duck Hearts, Hamachi Crudo, Potato Crusted Halibut, and Blackened Sea Bass
