Butera's Restaurant of Sayville is a full service, fine dining "Family-Style" Italian restaurant serving seafood, steaks, veal, chicken and pastas dishes. "Family-style" dining affords groups the opportunity to sample many dishes at one time. We also serve individual portions upon request. Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. In the summer of 2016, owners Eileen & Matthew Connors and Jay Gut moved locations to a brand new dockside treasure.     We made a last minute reservation and were pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We love to sit near the fireplace, however there was not an available table in that area. Instead we were seated upstairs which was such a pleasant experience! It was much more quiet and formal. Our waiter was so kind, attentive and funny! The food was 10/10 as per usual. We enjoy the crab cake, baked clams, porterhouse for two, shishito peppers and lobster mac; it’s our “go-to” dinner. It’s always a pleasure to dine at Tellers whether it’s for a casual dinner or holiday celebration.

    Food was fantastic & extremely prompt, despite being so busy! Service even more so. Our server was Andrew. He was absolutely impressive to the point, we had to put in a good word to the Manager. Just when I could not be anymore impressed, Manager Rubins handed me his card & told us the next time we come to make sure we send him a text to make sure we get taken care of. WOW! What an amazing dining experience. 5 Stars to the max. Can’t wait to go back.

    I brought my long time friend here for a Galentine's dinner and it was perfect! We had a chance to really chat & catch up in a private but very fun space. The servers were lovely and more than happy to accomodate our "in no rush" timeline (on a Tuesday if course). It was the perfect spot for a cute dinner night out! Food was great, Italian is NOT her first choice but she loved it!
