Even if it's beyond your backyard, this member of our family of fine restaurants (established in 2006) is well worth the trip. Vivid colors, an open kitchen, and delicious, homestyle aromas immediately tell you: You've come the right place. In our vibrant and welcoming decor, semi-casual attire is most often the norm, yet it's an ideal setting to celebrate special occasions. In fact, Perry Hall features a spacious private party room for 80 that can be easily divided into two intimate rooms of 30. We have also, on numerous occasions, offered the entire restaurant to host gatherings of 200. We had reservations, but the place was overcrowded, and we had to wait about an hour and a half to be seated. The entrance was packed, the line was out the door. We had our parents with us who are both 87 yrs old. They had to stand up for the entire wait to be seated. It was Christmas Eve, so that might have been the reason for the excessive wait. After we were seated, our server was prompt, polite, and quick to serve our needs. The only thing is there seemed to be a disarray in the kitchen. Our server went to get us the dinner rolls three times, and they never arrived, so no rolls with our dinner. Our appetizers were served quickly, but there was a very long wait for our dinner. The server was wonderful, and she did apologize several times for the delays. Overall, the food was delicious, and the only thing not so great was all of the waiting. Our entire meal with waiting took us over three and half hour to dine.
