A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! La Masseria Restaurant is inspired from ancient fortified farmhouses that in the Puglia Region of Italy are called “Masseria”. Executive Chef/Co-Owner, Pino Coladonato, grew up on a Farm in Puglia. He was forced to eat whatever was available but soon was tired of bean puree and decided to take matters into his own hands, creating new ways to use the same few ingredients. Now, with limitless ingredients to choose from, fava beans, chickpeas and lentils are still a core element in many of his entrees. Interior Designer Libby Langdon has created a warm, inviting dining atmosphere. Rustic and relaxed, with plenty of old world charm. Always a great meal with fantastic service at this and all the Cecconi's locations that I have frequented worldwide. We were happy to get a table with a view and try some creative cuisine. The whipped ricotta with truffle was superb. I feel like a lot of restaurants have the same menus these days and the chef really puts his own spin on some basic items and really makes them mouth watering. Quite the enjoyable experience!

I wanted try the burger for a while. I was told they did not have it cause the oven was down. So they could not bake the bread. A few minutes after I was told that a man sitting 2 tables down was served the burger. Not sure why that happened. I later seen the post okay. instagram. I been wanting to go to hawksmoor for some time Now to try the burger. But they did not make it for me. Overall eveything else was amazing.

Our Server John - it was his 1st Day. He was friendly, courteous and attentive to our Table. The food & drink dishes were delicious and we will be back very soon ! YUM
