Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. There is no better place to have fun, eat socialize and get wonderful drinks and appetizers. In the heart of low high, Denver and close to downtown is a wonderful restaurant for meeting friends, family, and walking to Little man ice cream after dinner.

Amazing experience! Started with the prosciutto, a pinot grigio, and had the tagliatelle, followed by the torta. It was all so wonderful! HIGHLY recommend the tagliatelle!! I sat at the bar, where Caesar waited on me, and he was exceptional. Highly attentive but not over-bearing; he was personable and friendly. I loved the ambiance as well. It should also be said, Caesar went above and beyond, and is an expert in his craft! Make a reservation, and you will not be disappointed.

Really liked the vibe of this place. I don’t know if our waitress had a couple of big parties but it took awhile to even get water to our table. We made reservations and didn’t have to wait for our table to be ready it was good to go right when we got there. The food was pretty good, mashed potatoes were wonderful, sautéed veggies were also good, I had the chicken and it could’ve used a bit more seasoning. My family enjoyed their meals and the bar was quick with the drinks.

We had the best experience! This restaurant is so much fun and a great atmosphere, delicious drinks, and unique tasty food. We had a large group for a birthday party and they were so accommodating. We got our drinks and apps quickly and all the food was amazing. The ambience has a tropical club vibe without it being loud tacky. Great place for a group to have a good time! Be aware, parking is VERY difficult to find!
