1913 Restaurant & Bar is no ordinary restaurant. Named for the founding year of the City of Hope, 1913 is a place where every plate is thoughtfully curated to nourish one’s body, heart, spirit, and soul. Executive Chef Christian Eggerling and his diverse team of culinary talent make healthy food fun, sometimes fancy (because we all deserve it), but never boring. Fresh wild-caught seafood, locally sourced meat, garden-harvested vegetables, decadent desserts, curated wine list and craft cocktail program make 1913 the ideal destination for any occasion. Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org. Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each Open Table reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables. Please note that visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation. Tickets are available at huntington.org

    Incredible food! We had the burrata with persimmons and celery, grilled prawns (Amazing!!!!!), short ribs and broccolini. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully paired flavors. Best broccolini I’ve ever had. Will return again. Everything was perfect for sharing.

    great bubbly, sandwiches, desserts and tea; perfect service. Next time (there will definitely be a next time!) I would ask to keep the scones and add fruit (decrease the hard to dismiss desserts). thanks for a great bday photo! (servers are excellent photographers).

    Bacari GDL is hands down my favorite restaurant in L.A.! If you haven’t tried this place, you’re truly missing out. The food is consistently excellent every time I visit, and the ambience is both hip and incredibly fun. The staff here is exceptional—they make you feel like the most important guest, even when the place is packed. A special shoutout to Christian, Cal, and Gee—thank you for being such wonderful people. Your kindness and attentiveness always stand out. Oh, did I mention they are funny as well? I’m already looking forward to my next visit—see you all tomorrow!
