Let’s start with Nam, our server. He provided an incredible experience for us. Thank you! Now, we went on a Thursday. I booked it based on their everyday menu. When we got there, they had a “date night” menu. With the courses offered we pulled the trigger. Was incredible food, LOTS of flavor and variety. Steak, pasta (wow), amazing carrots and ended with a dessert that was literally on fire! We added the caviar service for fun since the pricing was so good. Overall, if you haven’t been to this restaurant, try a Thursday. It’s special.

This is my favorite spot in Little Italy. I celebrate birthdays here and bring visitors to San Diego who I’m trying to impress. My vegan friends are thrilled by the menu and my non-vegan friends can’t believe how good all the menu items are. The crew at Civico 1845 is kind and attentive - seriously everyone who works here is friendly and hospitable. Never had a bad experience here and I’ll keep coming back with that expectation.

The food was great, service was outstanding. You do not have to be a vegetarian to enjoy this restaurant.
