Submerse yourself in a dessert bar that will challenge your expectations by embracing acid, sweet, bitter, and savory all while extracting the nuances that truly makes them unique. Located at The Pearl, Nicosi only has only 20 seats that hug the kitchen, fostering one on one dialogue with the chefs. To best accomodate your experience, reservations are required. We are offer 2 seating times per night: 5:30 and 8:00. We offer wine and cocktail pairings or non-alcoholic beverage pairings for each course. Cured – The gastro-pub style restaurant, in the heart of the Pearl District of San Antonio, TX. Cured is endowed with a name that celebrates Chef Steve McHugh's successful battle against cancer, as well as the artisanal cured meats that are the cornerstone of his menu. The three-time James Beard Award finalist began his culinary journey on a small farm in Wisconsin and a vibrant decade in New Orleans. This position eventually led him to San Antonio where, with a new lease on life after beating lymphoma, he ventured out on his own to open Cured. McHugh's gastronomic foundation relies on the purity of natural regional ingredients and the hands-on unadultured methods that enhanced his own healing process. This from-scratch focus finds its way to seasonally dynamic menus of cured delicacies from the charcuterie to pickles.

    Consistently great food, attentive waitstaff, and lovely atmosphere. They offer two portion sizes for most entrees and I usually get the smaller which I find, in most cases, is more than enough. I've had the Denver beef several times and really enjoyed it as well as the corn pudding it comes with. And, to start with we had the chicken fried oysters which I literally crave, they're so delicious. Highly recommend!

    A little less music volume in the place would make it more enjoyable. The service needs some structure. Drinks came late in the middle of the meal. And it was not crowded. The fish tacos were very good as well as the Cabrito and the guacamole went a little too much lime. The Chalupas and the Tacos were just ok. It could do a lot better.

    We ate at Fogo de Chão on New Year’s Day to start our 2025 and it was very good. The restaurant was busier than I expected but the three of us had a reservation so not to worry. The staff brought my 101 year old mother the salt-free lamb chops that she always requests which were a bit overcooked but still tender and delicious. My friend and I enjoyed the other various cuts of beef, and we all enjoyed the salad bar and the sides… especially the little cheese breads. We’ve tried the cheese breads at other Brazilian restaurants but the best ones are at Fogo. The only negative was the very last cut of meat for me which was a chunk of picaña instead of a slice. It was very fibrous and hard to cut but I suppose that was because it was a remaining portion of the meat instead of a sliced piece. Other than that, we had a very good experience once again and we will be back! P.S. I forgot to take any pictures this time because I was enjoying the food a little too much.
