As a traveler from Cincinnati to Miami, I am always looking for the next best restaurant in the cities that I visit. I stumbled upon the Stubborn Seed on the Michelin list and upon further research, I knew I had to give it a try. I was very relieved to find out they were open on a Monday evening. I sat at the bar alone and I had opted for the higher end 10 course tasting menu. The bartender was very attentive, witty, and friendly. The courses came out in a perfectly times manner. My sage cocktail was fantastic. Let’s get to the food. Each course had a gorgeous, clean presentation. Everything was absolutely delicious. Some dishes were so creative and you could taste the quality of the vegetables in each dish. I also appreciated the different textures. I could tell every single dish was very well thought out. I wish they sold a pint of that heirloom tomato sorbet… wow! Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience. With one Michelin star, I expected the best food and service and I absolutely received that. I would love to return in the summer as the menu changes with the seasons. Thanks so much for having me! I can’t wait to be back. Your team was exceptional.

Excellent evening. Great food and our waiter NJ was fantastic. Very caring and made very good recommendations. We dined at Azabu already four times and were never disappointed.

Very expensive, but great food, great ambiance, great service make it a solid special occasion spot.

As a newly vegan that’s the place to go for taste and texture!
