In the Middle Eastern culture, meza (Lebanese term for appetizer) consists of a vast array of small sized, hot and cold dishes, great for sampling and sharing. The food was delicious, the restaurant is beautiful and the server was terrific. The restaurant was a bit cold, and as it filled up it got disproportionately noisy (lots of hard surfaces).

Incredible food! We had the burrata with persimmons and celery, grilled prawns (Amazing!!!!!), short ribs and broccolini. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully paired flavors. Best broccolini I’ve ever had. Will return again. Everything was perfect for sharing.

The mezza without kabobs was quite filling and definitely delicious. A couple people in our party ordered entrees as well and the lamb kabob was cooked perfectly. Carousel is always a special treat!

Bacari GDL is hands down my favorite restaurant in L.A.! If you haven’t tried this place, you’re truly missing out. The food is consistently excellent every time I visit, and the ambience is both hip and incredibly fun. The staff here is exceptional—they make you feel like the most important guest, even when the place is packed. A special shoutout to Christian, Cal, and Gee—thank you for being such wonderful people. Your kindness and attentiveness always stand out. Oh, did I mention they are funny as well? I’m already looking forward to my next visit—see you all tomorrow!
