We had the best time enjoying the Tasting Menu. Every single course was flavorful, different, and exciting. The Amuse Buche, currently a cumin and truffle macaron topped with kaluga caviar was an incredible start to the meal. The Achapam rose cookie or the Lychee Coconut ceviche may have been my favorite courses, they were so light and refreshing and flavorful with interesting notes that were fun to discuss with the other people in our party. I have to mention the absolute decadence that is the Paneer. I would absolutely order it over and over again, the texture is so soft and smooth and its sauce was clean the plate with naan worthy. Our server, JP, did a wonderful job walking us through each course and explaining the concepts of the restaurant and creation of dishes, as well as talking through cocktail flavors, and taking extreme care of me with Food Allergies. The restaurant is so beautiful and detailed, with tiny bits of intricate decor everywhere you look. Try the Zaffran cocktail, you won’t regret it!

Today I had the pleasure of dining at State Fare Memorial and tried their “Birria” Grilled Cheese – an absolute masterpiece! The combination of gooey cheese, perfectly toasted bread, and flavorful birria was out of this world. To top it all off, our waitress, Yara, made the experience unforgettable. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was phenomenal, and the service was just as awesome. Can’t wait to come back for another bite!

Love going to this place. The food is always excellent, great quality and good portions. This is a place we love as a family because of the quality of the food and variety and taste! Haven’t had a bad dish there ever!

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a refined elegance that enhances the overall experience. The real highlight of our evening was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Maynor. From the moment we were seated, his attentiveness and genuine hospitality were unparalleled. Maynor anticipated our every need, ensuring that our drinks were never empty and that we always had the perfect cut of meat on our plates. His warm demeanor and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience, making us feel like honored guests. If you’re looking for a Fogo de Chão location that combines impeccable service, a welcoming atmosphere, and their signature culinary excellence, Cypress is the place to go. Thanks to Maynor and the entire team, we’ll absolutely be returning soon!

Always a great experience - the staff are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. One of the finer dinning experiences in Houston. And we met the Chef & Owner - super nice guy, very gracious. The plant based menu is excellent and some of the dishes from South Africa are extraordinary.
