Yalla is a neighborhood Mediterranean smokehouse from the Sesame Collective restaurant group. Opened in summer of 2020, Yalla brings a Mediterranean smokehouse to the heart of the Multnomah Village neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. With a menu of smoked meats, seasonal vegetables, and comfort dishes, Yalla is currently open for delivery, take out, and full service dining. Yalla is helmed by Chef/Owner Kasey Mills and Chef de Cuisine Daniel Valley.

James Beard-nominated, Chef's Prix Fixe Tasting Experience by Executive Chef Jose Camarena, recontextualizes Mexican cuisine and culture through Storytelling. We exclusively offer a prix fixe tasting menu experience, with a longer and shorter option. Both experiences are meant to honor the complex history that created each dish, as well as leave a lasting impact on all those who taste this beautiful food and listen to our stories. República is a tasting menu-only restaurant. We offer a full tasting menu experience for $150 per person, or a briefer experience for $128 per person.     A Wonderful Holiday Tradition at Cascadia This was our second time dining at Cascadia during Christmas, with the first visit being last year during the same festive season. Once again, the experience was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing a great variety of flavors and exceptional quality. It’s clear that the team puts care and thought into every dish. The festive atmosphere added a warm and cheerful touch, making it a perfect spot for a holiday meal. Cascadia has now become a special part of our Christmas celebrations, and we look forward to returning again next year. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience, especially during the holidays!
