Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago. We liked the place. It is reminiscent of Blue Martini days (if anybody remembers that). The people were more pleasant and the location is sweet.

All items ordered from the brunch menu, and each selection was outstanding. Avocado Toast and side sald filling, and the hard boiled egg had a real spicy kick to them. The yam "pizza" pie was unique and tasty, especially caramelized onion and cheese. The breakfast has was also good and the tacos excellent. All the hot drinks were poor - the decaf coffee was bitter and barely warm. The cappuccino was pathetically weak, and the latte was passable. At $5 a pop, should have much better. The server either did not bring them to the table quickly, or they just sat at the bar. Should have been brought immediately. Had to ask for table water several times, waitress seemed overwhelmed, and it was only 10:30 AM.
